    This is a Call for Expression of Interest for Gozo based agri-food producers, farmers and touristic establishments to Participate in the MedSNAIL Project.



    Applicants need to meet the following criteria:



    Production scale: the call will only address micro, small and medium enterprises;



    Type of agro-food products: only actors dealing with local, traditional products that are strongly linked to local communities will be considered;



    Commitment to comply with MedSNAIL requirements as far as sustainability, security and fairness of products and production practices are concerned: priority will be given to actors whose production practices are already consistent with the MedSNAIL approach.     Applicants meeting these criteria shall be invited for a field interview in order to identify traditional foods, practices and traditions linked to Gozo's eno-gastronomic heritage, document all findings and develop a network and strategy for the promotion of Gozo's Eno-gastronomic heritage within an international context via the MedSNAIL Project.



    Interested applicants are invited to send an email to (medsnailproject@gozoregion.eu) by not later than Monday, 22nd March, 2021 listing the following:



    Name and surname of applicant



    Type of activity performed by the applicant

    A brief outline of the traditional product that the applicant intends to document and promote. It is important that the product/s listed meet the following criteria:



    a. Have strong link with the territory (i.e. Gozo),



    b. Have a link with Gozo's culture, history and traditions,



    c. Have exceptional taste and nutritional qualities,



    d. Are socially and environmentally sustainable.
