    Office space required premises for Malta Development Bank. Ref:MDB/002/2019

    The Malta Development Bank (MDB) would like to receive offers for the purchase of the office space located in Valletta or Floriana.
    The expected specifications of the premises are as follows:
    1. The building is covered with the relevant Planning Authority (PA) permits and can be used as offices;
    2. The building is fully compliant with PA permit drawings, conforms to local building regulations and standards and has all necessary permits required by all the relevant authorities;
    3. Total usable office space required is a minimum of 400 square meters, consosting of one board room, two meeting rooms, single and multi-occupancy offices and other office amenities such as a reception, waiting area, kitchen facilities and a server room. The premises shall have sanitary facilities at each level;
    4. The building is uder friendly and provides accessibility on all levels;
    5. The building is equipped with modern air conditioning facilities and preferably with a CAT6 passive network infrastructure including telephony;
    6. The building has installed lift facilities if office space is spread on ore than one floor and/or is not at street level.

    Due consideration will be given to the state of completion of the building, which ideally should be ready to move into by not later than end of 2019.

    The MDB reserves the right to negotiate with the preffered candidate following an assessment of the property and an evalution of the submissions received. The award criteria will be evaluated on a most econamically advantageous basis.
    Interested parties are asked to submit the following documentation:
    (a) A discription of the premises, including the exact location, a minimum of 2 photos of the facade and a minimum of 5 photos of the internal area;
    (b) The total area of internal office space including board room and meeting rooms;
    (c) The total area of garage/parking spave if available;
    (d) Full-scale PA Permit Plans
    (e) Full PA Permit certificates, including site plan;
    (f) Asking Price for the premises, including garage space if available;
    (g) Details of any servitudes and any any legal constrains which may have an impact on the funcionality of the premises.

    The above information is to be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer in a sealed enveloped marked ''Premises'' and must be received by the MDB at the Pope V Street Valletta by (12:00hrs) noon of Monday, 23rd September 2019.

    The rigth is reserved to reject any of the submissions made. The MDB also reserves the right not to proceed further with this call for proposals and not to enter into any convenium.

    All material submitted becomes the property of the MDB. Cost and price information provided in the offers will be held in confidence and will not be revealed or discussed with competitors, except to the extent required by law.
